YouTuber Vitaly Photographed Being Baptised In Philippines Prison As He Faces 20+ Years In Jail

We first blogged about Vitaly way back in 2013, and since then he went on to become one of the most infamous and successful YouTubers out there off the back of his pranks, livestreams, and predator-catching videos.

Earlier this year, Vitaly went over to the Philippines to do some live-streaming and ended up committing a few crimes in the process; including theft, harassment and disturbing the peace. Here are a few examples of what he got up to:

This behaviour did not go down too well with Filipino locals, the government or the police, and Vitaly has now been sitting in a hot, crowded, dangerous Manila prison cell since April 3.

Authorities have already refused to deport him until after he receives and carries out his jail sentence, but apparently it could 2 – 3 YEARS before he even gets a trial, at which point they’ll probably give him even more prison time. The guy is absolutely screwed!

In the meantime, there have been a couple updates as to what Vitaly has been getting up to exactly whilst in prison. Images posted by the Taguig City Jail Male Dormitory on its official Facebook page show several inmates being baptised at the prison, and sure enough, one of those inmates is the Russian streamer himself:

Vitaly baptised

Well, I suppose you’ve got to kill the time somehow. It also won’t hurt for his lawyer to present this sort of thing at his trial (whenever that eventually happens) to make out that he’s had a spiritual awakening and found his faith and whatnot. Filipinos love that sort of thing. Enough to go easy on him after he made a mockery of their country and people with his insanely disrespectful YouTube stunts? Probably not, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

Aside from that, we also know that Vitaly has lost a ton of weight on the inside:

Not great.

Whatever happens with Vitaly, the whole saga has likely already effectively deterred other YouTubers/foreigners from acting like idiots in the Philippines, which is a good thing. Who better to make an example out of than one the world’s most notorious, trouble-making streamers?

He really should have listened to his fellow American out there in the Philippines who warned him to stop being such a tw@t:

You live and you learn.

Meanwhile over in neighbouring South Korea, fellow streamer Johnny Somali is also facing guaranteed prison time for being arguably even more of a d1ck than Vitaly was in the Philippines. These Asian countries are not messing about.
