Woman Refuses To Let An Entire Plane Of Passengers Exit Because She Wants Her Daughter To Be Let Off First

One of the tensest moments of any flight is when the plane has landed, the seatbelt sign pings off, and everyone starts scrambling for their overheads while completely forgetting how to line up and wait their turn to exit.

I don’t think we’ve ever witnessed a situation like what happened on this Spirit Airlines flight recently, though: a woman at the front of the plane blocking everyone else from deplaning because she demands that her daughter, seated at the back, be let off the plane with her first:

Madness, Now, keep in mind this is Spirit Airlines which is basically the American equivalent of Ryanair, so problematic, braindead clientele like this is to be expected. But surely even the dumbest person on the plane can figure out that by simply standing to one side and allowing the rest of the passengers to exit the plane, that eventually the child that she’s waiting for will walk by her aisle and they can leave the plane together.

Well, I guess it’s possible that this is the lady’s first time on a plane and she doesn’t have a clue how things work. If that’s the case, why didn’t the flight attendant explain it to her? Step inside your aisle, and your child, who is in the queue to exit the plane like everyone else, will be with you shortly…

Of course, there were other passengers escalating the situation and making things worse, which again takes us back to the fact that this is a Spirit Airlines flight.

Here’s hoping the child in question was a young child and not a teenager or an adult, because that would somehow make this whole thing even dumber. Then again, if you’re a young child, what are you doing on a flight that doesn’t assign seats for a child to sit next to its mum? Seems like it should be standard procedure, really.
