UK Mum Arrested For Calling Man Who Assaulted Her A ‘F****t’ Explains Exactly What Happened

The woman who was convicted with a hate crime after she called her attacker a ‘f****t’ in a text message has gone into more detail around her arrest on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

While in hospital, Elizabeth Kinney, 34, texted her friend to vent about the assault and referred to the man who assaulted her as a f****t. Her friend reported her to police for homophobia and Kinney was charged with malicious communications offences.

Meanwhile, the man who allegedly assaulted her was not sentenced.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Kinney’s arrest was a traumatic experience in itself. As she explained on Piers Morgan’s show:

I know that’s 15 minutes long so I’ll summarise the key details below:

–  Kinney claims that eleven police officers (10 men, one female) burst into her home while she was in the bath to arrest her.

– She was told she was being arrested for ‘malicious communications.’

–  She was warned she could face a maximum sentence of between five and ten years in prison for the hate crime.

– She claims her attacker left her with a skull fracture and inflammation on the brain.

– She says the text messages were sent during a moment of anger as she recovered in hospital.

– She pleaded guilty to malicious communications and a hate crime, receiving a 12-month community order, including unpaid work and rehabilitation days, while the man who allegedly assaulted her has not faced any punishment.

Elizabeth Kinney, the mum who was arrested for using a slur word in private text messages, tells Piers Morgan ELEVEN police officers burst in on her in the bath - and she could now be facing up to 10 ...

I mean, if it all went down the way that Elizabeth Kinney says it did, then that is undeniably insane. If any of what she told Piers is inaccurate or exaggerated then hopefully we’ll hear the other side of it, but as things are, it certainly sounds like the mum-of-four has been very harshly treated by the authorities and the justice system (not to mention her so-called friend who forwarded her messages to the police). And especially given the context that she was beaten up, had sustained (she claims) a fractured skull, and was texting from hospital.

What I can’t wrap my head around is why they needed 11 police officers to turn up at her house and arrest her? Surely we’ve got too many cops on the payroll if they’ve all got that much time on their hands.
