Tyson Fury Attends Ricky Hatton Funeral Wearing Suit Featuring Pictures Of Himself

Tyson Fury appears to have stolen the show at Ricky Hatton’s funeral in Manchester today, by turning up wearing a suit featuring dozens of photos of his own face.

Pretty bold choice of funeral attire, even for the Gypsy King…

He is wearing a black tie, to be fair. What else do you want from the guy?

Earlier today, Fury shared a heartwarming tribute to his old friend, crediting Ricky Hatton with inspiring himself and so many other boxers.

Fury said on Instagram: ‘Today’s the day of Ricky Hatton’s funeral and I’m not going to be alone when I say this: that Ricky inspired me as a young boy to go on and do great things in boxing.”

‘I wanted to be just like him – the ring walks, the flashy shorts, the fans, the chanting.

‘When I was a little kid he was fighting for his world title in Manchester against Kostya Tszyu and I was there along with a load of other young kids who were inspired.

‘So without Ricky Hatton, Manchester wouldn’t have had, the northwest wouldn’t have had, the UK wouldn’t have had so many world campions inspired by Richard ‘The Hitman Hatton’. Rest in peace Rick.’

Here’s a look at some of the other names in attendance…

Seems everyone else was rather more appropriately dressed, but hey, it’s Tyson Fury we’re talking about and he can wear what he likes. After all, there’s no way he would have worn that outfit if he thought that Ricky Hatton or any one of Hatton’s family would have found it disrespectful. If anything, it might’ve been something of an inside joke between the long-time friends.

Besides, everyone knows that Tyson Fury is his own biggest fan, so if anyone’s going to wear a suit of their own face to a funeral, it’s the Gypsy King himself. You just have to deal with it, I’m afraid.
