Trump Says He Doesn’t Want ‘Somalians In Our Country’ And That ‘Their Country Stinks’
Trump went full, um, Trump towards the end of a televised Cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday, saying he does not want any more Somalis moving to the United States as all they do is “rip off” the American taxpayer and “do nothing but b-tch” in return.
The President said: “They contribute nothing. I don’t want them in our country, I’ll be honest with you. Some will say that is not ‘politically correct.’ I don’t care. Their country is no good for a reason.”
He continued: “Their country stinks, and we don’t want them in our country.”

His comments come days after the New York Times reported that a group of Somalis living in Minnesota orchestrated a fraud scheme that stole “more than $1 billion in taxpayers’ money”, which is the perfect sort of thing for Trump to jump on and push this sort of rhetoric. It was also the perfect opportunity for Trump to have a pop at his arch nemesis Rep. Ilhan Omar, who moved to the U.S. from Somalia in 1995, and is always saying unkind things about the President.
On Omar, Trump said: “For years I’ve watched her complain about our Constitution… how she is treated badly, the United States is a bad place and hates everybody, hates Jewish people, hates everybody. She’s a terrible person.”
He added that the U.S. cannot continue to take “garbage into our country” like Omar and Somalis like her.
Wild stuff. No matter what your opinion on Trump, I think we can all agree that it’s absolutely nuts that the President of the United States can talk like this in 2025. Apparently there are quite a few cases of Somali fraud rings in the States, but that’s not a reason to sh1t on all Somalis, is it? It just feels like that kind of talk can lead to innocent people being killed.
Absolute state of America, and the West in general, at the moment. Makes you wonder how much worse things are going to get, before they get any better.
