Intimate Selfies Show How Woman’s Body Changes During Pregnancy

We’re always looking to share daring and challenging projects on Sick Chirpse and this falls into that category, although it’s probably also one of the most beautiful and intimate projects we’ve ever featured too.

When Argentinian photographer Sophie Starzenski became pregnant she decided to document the process in a series of selfies in front of her mirror, which would document the changes in her body. The pictures were taken monthly and really emphasis the changes that a woman goes through during her pregnancy. The last picture was taken only four hours before she actually gave birth.
