Smitten Prison Officer Said She Would ‘Take A Bullet’ For Armed Robber

If you’re a young lady who’s into bad boys, there’s no better place to find them than in the prison system. They’re literally in endless supply! Unfortunately, these affairs between female prison officers and male inmates are almost always uncovered, especially when you fail to be discreet about it.

Prison officer Isabelle Dale, 23, is accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with convicted robber Shahid Sharif, who was three years into a twelve-year sentence at HMP Coldingley in Surrey.

Dale reportedly engaged in a sexual encounter with the inmate in a prayer room whilst two other prisoners stood guard.

There’s no CCTV inside the prayer room, but surveillance footage from outside showed the pair enter the room and close the door behind them. Four minutes later (is that it?) they reemerged with Dale adjusting her belt buckle.

Days later, Dale later received a message from Sharif, saying: “It was good sharing dat love today ur p*****s ammaazzzeeeingggggg”. Shakespeare, eat your heart out!

Aside from that, Dale is also accused of assisting Sharif and others in smuggling envelopes soaked with synthetic cannabis (AKA spice) into HMP Swaleside on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent following his transfer.

According to the Mirror, Dale operated Sharif’s drug-dealing Snapchat profile and collected the synthetic cannabis from his accomplice, Lilea Sallis, in Brighton.

Sure enough, officers discovered drug-smuggling equipment in Dale’s car alongside an engagement ring, which she claimed Sharif had purchased for her. Awwww?

They also found a handwritten love letter from her in Sharif’s cell in which she said she would ‘take a bullet’ for him.

Prosecutor Kieran Brand told Southwark Crown Court this week: “This case concerns allegations of prison corruption and the smuggling into prison of drugs and telephones. At the time this indictment is concerned with, the first defendant, Isabelle Dale was a serving prison officer at HMP Coldingley.

“The prosecution case is that she was in a sexual relationship with a male named Shahid Sharif who was a serving prison inmate, initially at HMP Coldingley while Miss Dale worked there. Their intimate relationship led to Miss Dale agreeing with him to smuggle contraband, including the illegal drug ‘spice’ into the prison.

“The spice was to be supplied by the second defendant, Lilea Sallis, who was an associate of Mr Sharif. It is further alleged that Miss Dale had a sexual relationship with at least one other prisoner.”

“On 19th July 2022, Miss Dale and Mr Sharif were seen to enter the multi-faith room located off a wing within the prison, together. They remained there for four minutes while two inmates appeared to act as lookouts.

“They both emerged from the room together and walked back towards the wing, with Miss Dale appearing to readjust her belt area on the right-hand side of her hip. The multi faith room is not covered by CCTV: the prosecution say it is clear they went in there for some form of sexual activity.”

Dale denies all charges levelled at her, which is a bit surprising because they’ve got CCTV of her smooching Sharif at HMP Swaleside when she visited him there as a civilian following his transfer on three separate occasions. Authorities have also seen ‘flirtatious images’ sent between the pair through the ’email a prisoner’ system, and evidence that she transferred £100 to him whilst employed as a prison officer. Aside from all the aforementioned evidence too, as well.

At the rate this sort of thing keeps happening, it makes you wonder whether it’s a good idea to have female prison officers (especially 23 year old ones) working in men’s prisons. Just seems like a recipe for disaster, really. Although in fairness, there’s loads of young female guards who don’t go around whoring themselves out to prisoners and smuggling drugs for them. Clearly though, better screening is needed.
