‘She Wants My Father’s Money’ – Ukrainian Model’s Dubai ‘Attackers’ Respond To Her Claims
You may remember the story about the Ukrainian OnlyFans model who was found with devastating injuries on the side of the road in Dubai earlier this year, with no one able to figure out how she ended up there.
Maria Kovalchuk, 20, had been missing in Dubai for 10 days before she was discovered on the side of the road with a shattered spine, broken legs, and her scalp practically ripped from her head.
Maria has since woken up from her coma, and said she remembers partying with “rich Russian kids” in the UAE city. Initially, she didn’t remember any of the violence that led to her injuries and her coma, and CCTV footage has since been erased (convenient).

Now, in an interview with Russia’s Ksenia Sobchak, Maria Kovalchuk has named her Dubai attackers as members of the “golden youth”, basically rich kids from generational wealth. She says the lads she partied with that night were named Artem, Sasha, and two other wealthy individuals. All of them live in Dubai, but are from Russia or Belarus.
Maria explained that it all began when she missed her flight from Dubai to Thailand after she overslept. As she checked out of her hotel, she bumped into Artem, who invited her to stay in his room and told her they could fly to Thailand together in his dad’s private jet. How nice of him!
In Artem’s room, things apparently took a turn: “They were drinking very strong alcohol, like whiskey. They started to tease me, like, why don’t I drink. Then there were some aggressive pushes, they started to joke: ‘You belong to us. We’ll do whatever we want’.
“I tried to take it as a joke, because it was really weird. They started behaving inappropriately, smashing bottles on the floor. After that, they took my personal belongings, which included my passport.”
She claims: “They were starting to seriously scare me. I mean, I knew something was wrong. I tried to get out onto the balcony and ask the neighbours for help. Artem and [removed for anonymity] dragged me back. While they were on the balcony, I ran out of the hotel. They followed me.”
She says they chased her into a construction site, where they beat her and left her for dead.

These boys, who are well known on the Dubai party scene, are now suing Maria for defamation, and accuse her of trying to make money off them because she knows their parents are rich.
Sasha told AIF: “Almost everything she says is complete nonsense. I have nothing to do with it. Do you know what happens for slander?
“Apparently, she’s not afraid. I didn’t know what she was doing in Dubai. If I had, I wouldn’t have met her. I’ll say one thing: There’s all the evidence and facts that no one laid a finger on her. Her reputation is ruined; her mother needs to somehow make it look ‘fluffy.’ And while doing so, she’s slandering others. She wanted hype and money from my father, knowing he’s rich.”
Artem, whose dad owns a popular restaurant chain, also denies any wrongdoing, claiming that Maria was behaving erratically during the party. He also claims that she sustained her own injuries.
Artem said: “By the evening of the third day, she began to become hysterical, saying she felt empty inside and was fed up with everything. She threatened to never let anyone see her again. She started climbing over the balcony railing. Everyone was confused and didn’t know what to do.”
Mental situation. Unfortunately Dubai police waited for three months until CCTV cameras were automatically wiped before bothering to begin the investigation, so it seems unlikely that we’ll ever know what happened for sure.

For what it’s worth, Dubai police have publicly claimed her injuries occurred due to her falling from a restricted construction site she entered alone. Again, there’s no CCTV to determine whether that’s true or not, so it doesn’t really sound like there’s much hope of any justice here, which is basically what you’d expect when it comes to Russian rich kids living it up in Dubai.
In her most recent update as she steps up her recovery, Maria said: “At first, I felt like a broken doll. I couldn’t imagine my future life, how I would cope with these injuries, with this scar, disfigured… I wondered how I would ever find love… And other questions troubled me, too.
“But over time, my perception of this world somehow changed; I began to understand that what matters most is your inner state. What matters most is how you feel. I had enormous problems, but I managed to overcome them thanks to the support of my family and friends. I felt the healing power of love.”
Well, I guess that’s one positive she can draw from the situation. Hopefully her experience can serve as a lesson to all the other young, naive 20-somethings frolicking in Dubai right now. Stay safe, ladies.
