Sadiq Khan Hits Back At Donald Trump After US President Calls Him A ‘Nasty Person’

Classic moment the other day as Donald Trump ripped into Sadiq Khan while literally sat next to Keir Starmer, calling the London major a ‘nasty person’ who has done a ‘terrible job’ in the nation’s capital. He carried on even after Starmer reminded him that Khan is “a friend of mine, actually”, which goes to show how little respect Trump has for the English PM:

A spokesperson for Sadiq Khan has now put out a response on behalf of the mayor, saying:

“Sadiq is delighted that president Trump wants to come to the greatest city in the world.

“He’d see how our diversity makes us stronger, not weaker; richer, not poorer.

“Perhaps these are the reasons why a record number of Americans have applied for British citizenship under his presidency.”

Khan has previously accused Trump of picking on him because of his skin colour and religion, telling the High Performance podcast:

“It’s personal, let’s be frank. If I wasn’t this colour skin, if I wasn’t a practising Muslim, he wouldn’t have come for me.”

Trump had previously called Khan a “stone cold loser” and “very dumb”, so clearly there’s no love lost between the pair. If Trump does visit London, I wonder if they’ll get to meet? There’s no way they’ll be as cordial with each other as Trump is with Starmer, that’s for sure. Even if he has been making Starmer look like a total wet wipe throughout his visit here:

Well, London may have turned into something of a hell-hole under Khan’s watch, but at least he wouldn’t stand there and let Donald Trump make him look like a p***y in front of the whole world. Would be absolute cinema if these two ever meet face-to-face.
