Insurance scams are pretty commonplace in Russia, hence the dash cams installed in most cars which provide us with crazy road accident footage on a weekly basis.

Here’s a clear case of insurance scamming gone wrong, as this dude runs out into traffic fully expecting to take a tumble as sacrifice for a nice payout. Instead, he ends up getting smashed into orbit, won’t see a penny and will probably need to learn how to walk again from scratch:
