Royal Mail Fires Postman Under Investigation For Kicking Over Rainbow Garden Gnome
Gnomophobia will not be tolerated in a tolerant and inclusive society, which is why the Royal Mail has sacked a postman after footage showed him deliberately kicking over a rainbow garden gnome and a planter with a Pride flag in East Belfast.
The postie seems to look around to make sure that no one’s watching before kicking the rainbow gnome over.

Gno’mercy whatsoever.
The occupants of the house reported feeling “stunned” by the footage after checking their Ring camera, believing the act to be a targeted, homophobic message.
The truth is, whether it was homophobic or gnomophobic or anything else, randomly deciding to kick over stuff in people’s gardens isn’t really a desirable trait in a postman, so he’d be getting the sack either way. Going up to people’s front doors is literally the job; if you can’t be trusted in their front gardens, then clearly the postie life isn’t for you.
A Royal Mail spokesperson confirmed the postman’s contract had been terminated, stating: “The individual was an agency worker, and their contract assignment has been terminated with immediate effect”.
The postman remains under investigation for a ‘hate crime.’
