Rookie Female Officer Sacked For Groping Colleagues And Calling One A ‘P***y’ When He Rejected Her

A rookie female police officer has been sacked after drunkenly groping colleagues at a party and calling one a ‘p***y’ when he rejected her advances.

PC Pamela Pritchard, 29, grabbed a male colleague’s groin twice and then sat on his lap and kissed him at a leaving do at Caernarfon Rugby Club, Gwynedd.

The North Wales Police officer also grabbed a female colleague’s breasts, tried to kiss a senior colleague, and twerked on the dance floor (which isn’t a crime, but a detail the BBC included for some reason).

PC Sion Jarvis said: “She was slurring her words and her eyes were glazed over at this point. I started to converse with Pam in a friendly manner when she said the words ‘I want to f*** you’. She said this a couple more times before calling me a p***y.”

Facebook A woman smiles at the camera. It is a selfie and she has long blonde hair and blue eyes.

PC Pritchard, who joined North Wales Police as a trainee in 2023, admitted her drunken behaviour was inappropriate, but denied it was gross misconduct. I guess it wouldn’t have been gross misconduct if the people she groped were receptive to it, but it’s probably not the sort of thing you should be trying at a party (or anywhere) unless you’re absolutely sure the other people wants it.

Another officer, PC B, told the hearing on Monday he and another female colleague were at the bar with PC Pritchard when “out of the blue, PC Pritchard grabbed me below the belt and put her hand on my genitals outside my clothing.”

She did the same thing to him in the smoking section later in the night: “She grabbed my genitals outside my clothes and I distinctly remember her squeezing them.”

A female police officer, identified to the hearing only as “Police Constable A,” said: “PC Pritchard came up from behind me, put both her arms around my neck, then put them under my armpits and grabbed my breasts and squeezed them.”

PC Pritchard apologised to all the officers she groped when giving evidence at her hearing, said she doesn’t remember a thing, and is “mortified” by the whole situation.

She said: “My behaviour that evening was inappropriate I’ve never acted like that before. I’m absolutely mortified at what’s happened – I don’t recognise the person I see on that CCTV – all I can do is apologise. I feel I’ve let down the police, I’ve let down myself and I’ve let down my family.”

Her barrister argued that she should keep her job as it was a one-off and there was no risk of it happening again, but ultimately, the panel decided she should be relieved of her duties. She hasn’t been banned from policing though, so I guess there’s a chance she can return to the occupation once the dust has settled. Although she might want to move out of north Wales and start fresh somewhere else.

P.S. It’s the second female rookie cop we’ve reported on this week. What’s going on with these ladies?
