Polish CEO’s Company Review Bombed After Stealing Hat From Child At Tennis Game

Piotr Szczerek, the Polish millionaire CEO who snatched a signed hat from the hands of a child at the US Open the other night, has handled the whole thing terribly; issuing a statement earlier where he not only defended his actions, but also threatened to sue anyone on the internet who was writing mean things about him.

Looks like his lawyers are going to be busy then, because his paving company Drogbruk is getting absolutely annihilated on Trustpilot. Here are some of the reviews that have contributed to its current rating of just 1.1 on the company review website…

Brutal stuff. But what did he expect to happen? If you’re the CEO of a company who is willing to steal a hat from a kid, it’s fair to imagine that you probably run your company in an unethical manner too. No chance that signed cap was worth all this negative PR, right?

It’s got so bad that Trustpilot has suspended reviews on Drogbruk for the time being…

Just goes to show; you cannot be stealing from children on live TV in this day and age and think the internet is going to let you get away with it. You’re going to get the Coldplay treatment every time! Especially if you then follow it up by refusing to apologise and threatening to sue anyone who calls you out on your actions.

From the looks of things online, people think this guy deserves worse than just being review bombed. Might be a good idea to retract the statement he put out earlier and issue a proper apology, or at least just retract the part where you threaten to sue anyone who makes fun out of you. That’s never going to end well in the online world.

Meanwhile, Kamil Majchrzak has tracked down the young boy who had his hat snatched, met him personally, and handed over another autographed cap and a load of souvenirs. All’s well that ends well?
