Pitch Invaders At Salford City Match Parade England Flags To Protest Gary Neville

‘Angry, middle-aged white men’ are still fuming with Gary Neville for the comments he made about them earlier this month, and are now carrying out pitch invasions at Salford City games to let their thoughts on the former Manchester United captain be known.

Neville is a joint owner of the League Two club (along with David Beckham), and at the game against Oldham earlier, several pitch invaders took to the field waving England flags and wearing ‘Gary Neville Is A Traitor’ hoodies. Watch below:

Loving the guy who chickened out at the end there and just stayed where he was.

As you can hear in the clip, the crowd were completely on side with the pitch invaders, breaking out into chants of “Gary Neville is a w*****” and “England, England.”

In the end, the stewards had to get involved and drag them off the pitch..

Even off the pitch, it’s a similar story on the streets of Salford…

I guess this lot have run out of roundabouts to paint? I just don’t get how anyone could still feel so wound up over what Gary Neville said, especially as he made a valid point (though perhaps he phrased it poorly). The far right is manufacturing division with the working class, when the real enemy is the millionaire oligarchs brainwashing them to make it happen. The powers-that-be are telling common people who to hate and who to blame for their problems, and they’re buying it hook, line and sinker.

Is this going to be a feature of every Salford City home games from now on? Gary might have to pull a reverse Villa Park and ban fans from attending home games from now on. Or maybe just shut down the club completely? May as well at this point.
