Here Are Some Pictures Of The Creepiest Ghost Towns In America

There’s nothing weirder than walking around an abandoned town that’s still standing, just without the people that once lived there. It’s an eerie, spooky feeling that you can’t quite put your finger on, but one that you can’t quite ignore either. It stays with you.

Looking at photographs of abandoned towns isn’t exactly the same as walking through them with your friends, but I guess it’s the next best thing. Geotab recently created a ‘Ghost Towns Of America’ interactive map and decided to release some photographs of the ten creepeist in order to promote them – get  a load of these:

Not gonna lie when I say that I would definitely love to visit each and every one of those, especially somewhere like Fort Jefferson. All of them have their charm though as they remain static in time, a reminder of a world that no longer exists and clearly had to end in a hurry. Whimsical.
