MAGA Trump Supporter & Venture Capitalist Friend Revealed As ‘Racist’ Couple On London Tube Attack
Turns out the well-dressed couple who ‘pepper sprayed’ a woman outside Bond Street station in London weren’t Bonnie Blue & Matthew McConaughey after all, but rather two Americans who were visiting the city and who the internet managed to identify in a matter of hours.
The incident itself took place at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 11, and a whole month later, the Metropolitan Police had failed to identify or locate the suspects. They then decided to share an image of the couple online, and they were named and shamed in no time at all:
The couple have been identified as MAGA supporter and PR executive Melissa Rein Lively, 40, and Philipp Ostermann, a venture capitalist. Of course, the haven’t been formally accused or charged with a crime yet, but police believe they ‘may have information that may help them with their investigation.’ Wink, wink.
Melissa Rein Lively is the founder of the America First public relations agency that provides ‘anti woke’ services. She also previously supported the controversial, far-right QAnon movement, but has since publicly rejected their views.
On MAGA, she recently said in an interview with AFP: ‘It’s so much bigger than politics. It’s friendships, it’s relationships.’
Referring to what has been coined the ‘MAGA look’ for women (long blonde hair and immaculate make-up), she said: ‘That MAGA look really signals you are on the same team.’
Rein Lively even fought for the job of White House spokesperson for Trump’s second term before the President chose Karoline Leavitt in 2024.

Less is known about her buddy Philipp Ostermann, bue we do know he had been listed to speak at a private equity conference at the Syon Park stately home near Heathrow on October 14. He was part of a panel discussion titled ‘Delivering operational resilience and drive growth through robust cash management’. Bet that looked good on his LinkedIn profile!
Most likely, the couple are back in America by now, so it looks like they’ll have got away with their alleged crime. Of course, pepper spray is illegal in the UK, but it sounds like Ostermann was just pretending the bottle he sprayed was pepper spray because the victims didn’t report any reaction to it. Still, it’s got to be pretty embarrassing to have their photos and information about them doing the rounds like this.
In fact, it’s probably an even worse punishment than whatever the Met would have in store for them (a slap on the wrist, most likely).
