Locals Disgusted After Condom Found Frozen In Ice Rink

A condom frozen in an ice rink is the talk of the town over in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, with visitors at at the winter wonderland at Calverley Grounds ‘revolted’ by their experience at the venue.

Every Christmas, the town centre park is transformed with festive food stalls and a large ice rink, but this is the first time in its history that anyone has ever spotted a condom frozen in the ice rink (or anywhere on the premises, I’d imagine).

Anyone for a spot of condom fishing?

Katrina Rattray and her partner Mitchell were among the visitors who had their experience completely ruined by the iced prophylactic.

She told Metro: ‘To our horror, we spotted the condom in the ice.

‘I don’t know if a teenager put it there as a joke or if it was actually used, but imagine if a child fell over in the spot. It was quite disgusting and weird how the staff had not noticed it.’

After Katrina shared the images on social media, other locals were in complete and utter shock.

One said: ‘Is that in the ice? I’m taking my kids tonight…’

Another added: ‘That’s embarrassing.’

A spokeswoman for Tunbridge Wells council said: ‘The issue was dealt with promptly and the item removed.’

All’s well that ends well. As for who actually put the condom there in the first place, I guess that’s a cold case they’ll never crack. Funnier than it should be, really.
