Laura Woods Collapses Live On ITV While Presenting England Women’s Football

Really worrying moment on ITV4 earlier as Laura Woods collapsed while presenting coverage of England women’s friendly against Ghana.

The 38-year-old was broadcasting alongside Ian Wright and Anita Asante when she appeared to faint, prompting ITV to cut to a wide shot and then go to break:

When the coverage returned, presenter Katie Shanahan announced Woods had been ‘taken ill.’

Shanahan later added: ‘She’s in really good hands and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery.’

The good news is that Woods is doing OK, according to her fiancé, Love Island contestant Adam Collard:

Respect to Ian Wright for being there to catch her and for Katie Shanahan having to take over a live TV broadcast with zero notice. Here’s hoping Laura Woods makes a speedy recovery!
