Kevin Spacey Says He Is Now Homeless & Has A Link On His Website Asking People To Give Him Money

It’s been so long since Kevin Spacey got blacklisted from Hollywood that we almost forgot what he did to get into so much trouble. Of course – it was sex crimes (allegedly). And lots of them, including an allegation from actor Anthony Rapp that Spacey tried to have sex with him when he was 14.

In the court of law, Spacey was cleared of all charges, but Hollywood still won’t go anywhere near him. As such, the two-time Oscar winner says he now “literally” has no “home” and is living out of his suitcase in various hotels and Airbnbs while working as a lounge singer in Cyprus.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the former A-lister described his financial situation as “not great”, adding: “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.”

He continued: “The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out.”

Indeed, things are so bad that he’s now resorted to asking for donations on his website:

Still, the American Beauty star is not giving up hope, and reckons if just one top producer can give him a call and offer him a part in a movie, everything will be OK. In fact he’s pretty optimistic that this will happen.

He said: “My feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call Evan [Lowenstein, Spacey’s manager] tomorrow, it will be over. I will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone. And I believe it’s going to happen.”

That’s the spirit, Kev! In the meantime, he’s spending his time in Cyprus performing at nightclubs in Limassol…

Spacey, 66, was acquitted of the sexual assault of four men in the UK two years ago, and was found not liable in the civil case by Anthony Rapp in the US. However, he’s still facing a UK suit from an anonymous complainant. All in all, 50+ people have accused Spacey of sexual assault since 1977. They can’t all be liars, can they?

Previously, Spacey had appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and broke down crying when explaining how broke he is:

I have to say though, I’m not sure how “homeless” someone can be if they say they’re staying in hotels and Airbnbs while trying to sort their life out. Surely he can afford a sh1tty apartment, at the very least? It’s not like he’s sleeping in a broken down car on the side of the road, is it?

Not to mention – he was making $5 -10 million per film, which isn’t exactly Tom Cruise money, but definitely the kind of money that sorts you out for life. He was making $500,000 per episode on House of Cards alone!

I get that lawyers are pricey and all but if he has no money left after the career he’s had then he has definitely mismanaged his wealth. There’s no other explanation.

Either way, sounds like it’s tough times for Kevin Spacey. Any producer out there willing to give him another shot?
