Jake Paul And Gervonta Davis Face Off For The First Time & The Size Difference Is Comical

The first face-off between Jake Paul and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis has perfectly illustrated how stupid this whole charade is; with 6ft 1 Jake absolutely towering over his 5ft 5 opponent.

It just looks completely absurd:

Usually Jake Paul handpicks his opponents to ensure they’re either OAPs or complete tomato cans, and now that he’s finally decided to fight someone who’s young and skilled, he chooses a man who’s half his size. What makes it even dumber is that he’s clowning him about the height difference on stage, as if he doesn’t realise it makes him look bad.

It’s quite telling that Gervonta Davis just seems like he’s going through the motions and does not care about the fight at all. If anything, it looks like he suddenly realised how embarrassing it is to be there. Although I’m sure he’ll get over it because he’s guaranteed a massive payday to make Jake Paul look like a credible boxer.

Paul and Davis face off on Friday, November 14, 2025, live on The Cartoon Network Netflix. It’s a very real possibility that Davis gets sparked out, but who knows? Davis is far more experienced and may just end up having his way with his much larger opponent. Here’s hoping anyway.
