Erika Kirk Mocked For ‘WWE-Style’ Entrance At Charlie Kirk’s Memorial
Erika Kirk, the widow of assassinated conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, is catching some flak after making her entrance at his memorial with a load of pyrotechnics like it was Wrestlemania 50 or something.
I’m not sure if she was aware it was going to happen, but it was certainly an odd choice:

Trotting out a widow to WWE fireworks? I know Americans find it hard to do anything without fireworks, but come on. Imagine the organisers sitting around putting together this event and someone suggesting there should be fireworks at the moment Erika Kirk comes out to eulogise her husband? It’s just so weird and tasteless.
Furthermore, they were airing adverts for merchandise and asking for donations at the event too. ‘Murica!
Obviously we’re sorry for Erika Kirk’s loss and the whole thing is an unimaginable tragedy, but there’s no denying that this was super tacky. Here’s some of the reaction online:
