Eni Aluko Says Ian Wright ‘Doesn’t Care About Black Women’

I regret to inform that Eni Aluko has put her foot in it once again; this time claiming that the nicest man on the planet, Ian Wright, ‘doesn’t care about black women.’

Previously, Aluko had accused the legendary Arsenal player of blocking opportunities for female pundits by ‘dominating’ women’s sports coverage, and now she’s gone and said this on Instagram:

Really doesn’t help herself, does she? Aluko deleted the comment after posting it, but as we know, the internet is forever, and so it had already been screenshotted a bunch of times.

What’s really odd is that she had previously apologised about the original comments she made on Ian Wright blocking opportunities for women, so it’s a bit hypocritical for her to come out now and throw him under the bus again. Although given that he refused to accept her apology, maybe that’s what has prompted her outlook that he doesn’t care about black women specifically?

Maybe she was feeling herself after Joey Barton got ran through the courts recently for Tweeting mean things about her, but it’s one thing to be beefing a tw@t like Joey Barton, and quite another to start trouble with the legend that is Ian Wright. Not one single person on the planet will take your side over his, ever. Not only is he a great pundit who brings a lot of eyeballs to women’s football, he’s also just a great guy in general.

Aside from all that, getting involved in the culture wars over paedophilia and gun violence is another area she should probably steer clear of if she wants to win friends professionally and/or online. Not to mention – “could care less”?! There’s simply no excuse for that.

Just recently, Ian Wright was there to save the day when Laura Woods collapsed live on air. What a hero!
