Donald Trump Calls For Epstein Files To Be Released, Says: ‘I’ve Got Nothing To Hide’
Donald Trump has pulled the mother of all U-turns by calling for the Epstein files to be released, insisting he has ‘nothing to hide’ and calling claims that he is implicated in them a ‘Democrat hoax.’
Trump ran much of his Presidential campaign on the promise that he would release the Epstein files once elected, but then changed his tune and urged supporters to move on from the topic, which was pretty bizarre and suspicious.
In the last week, however, two newly leaked e-mails have prompted Trump to call for the release of the Epstein files once more:
1) An e-mail from Epstein to an associate which states Trump ‘spent hours’ with a victim of sex trafficking.
2) An e-mail from Jeffrey Epstein’s brother which mentions photos of Trump ‘blowing Bubba’.
The latter e-mail especially sparked a lot of speculation because ‘Bubba’ is the nickname of former US President Bill Clinton. Which suggests that there could potentially be photo evidence out there of Donald Trump giving Bill Clinton a blowie. Which is obviously the last thing on the planet Trump would want exposed to the world, if indeed that’s what the e-mail is alluding to.
Either way, it does sound like Trump was ‘blowing’ someone, and so he’ll want that rumour shut down ASAP. Will releasing the full Epstein files accomplish that? Well, maybe if they Tippex his name out beforehand, but that could take a while given how many times he’s been mentioned in the files already.
The US president addressed the controversy in a series of posts on Truth Social yesterday, saying
‘I DON’T CARE’ that ‘tens of thousands of pages’ had been released, or that more documents would be in future.
‘As I said on Friday night aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat “Shutdown”.’
‘Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory.’
So Trump has now given the green light for House Republicans to vote on the release of the Epstein files, but the only way I can see them doing this is if Trump has been given assurances that the worst stuff has been taken out. Then again, wouldn’t the Democrat oversight committee have seen everything by this point? Why wouldn’t they have leaked all the worst stuff already, since they are seemingly picking and choosing what to leak?
It really is a murky situation. Let’s see the House Republicans heed Trump’s call to vote on the full release of the files. There’s no reason why shouldn’t now, right?
