Bob Vylan Says He Never Celebrated The Death Of Charlie Kirk, Even Though It’s All On Video

Bob Vylan is trying to walk back his celebration of Charlie Kirk’s death after having a gig cancelled in the Netherlands over the viral clip which disgusted so many over the weekend.

Despite being filmed on stage dedicating a track to “an absolute piece of sh1t human being”, saying his pronouns are “was/were” and “rest in p1ss, Charlie Kirk, you piece of sh1t”, Bob Vylan is now trying to claim that this was not a celebration of Kirk’s death whatsoever:

I mean, if this isn’t a celebration of Charlie Kirk’s death, then I don’t know what is…

I suppose he didn’t outright say “I am celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk”, but that’s not really much of a defence, is it? He mocked, laughed, jumped, cheered, joked and ridiculed, but at no point was he celebrating? Lol – who’s he trying to kid?

Many people were supportive with “Death to the IDF” chants that put Bob Vylan on the map all those months ago, but what he’s done this time is on another level, so it’s no surprise their gig tomorrow (September 16) at the 013 in Tilburg has been cancelled, with the venue saying the statements made by the performer “go too far”.

Add this to the fact that Bob Vylan have already had their US visas revoked and gigs cancelled elsewhere in Europe, and you begin to wonder whether they’re trying to tank their careers on purpose. Then again, the crowd reaction was very favourable on the night, so I’m sure there are some warehouses or house parties that will book them after they’re blacklisted from everywhere else.
