If you know anything about football then chances are you were watching Argentina V Switzerland yesterday and were pretty gutted that it didn’t go to penalties due to Angel Di Maria’s last minute goal (tell me about it, I was at the game) unless you were Argentinian, as these reaction videos show.

It’s well known that the Argentines are a proud fooballing nation but this first bit – where commentator Pablo Giralt actually starts crying because he’s so emotional – is really something else. The other video isn’t as good and just shows a Buenos Aires council estate/tower block exploding with screaming and shouting as the goal goes in, but it’s still pretty special and really drives home just how much this game meant to the nation.
