American Tourist Blasted Online For Hiding While Female Companion Fights Off Robber

An American tourist is getting absolutely rinsed online after CCTV footage went viral showing him hiding behind a wall while his female companion fended off a knife-wielding robber on Colombia.

The incident took place earlier this month (December) near the entrance of what looks like a bank or currency exchange:

Oof, not a great look for the guy. I do like how he turned up to comfort her once the threat had been neutralised though, thanks to a load of strangers who saw what was happening and rushed over to help. Those dudes took care of business!

Unfortunately for the lad, we live in the year 2025, which means incidents like these wind up online for the internet to eviscerate you over your cowardice. Fair play to the girl for putting up a fight until the rescue eventually came. Turns out the robber would have had a better chance trying to rob the dude instead?

No idea if these two are actually a couple but if they are, I’m 99% sure she’s going to dump him as soon as she sees this footage. I mean, whatever the opposite of a knight in shining armour is, that guy is it. I don’t care who you are, there’s no saving any relationship when something like that is caught on camera. Best of luck to both on their future romantic endeavours.
