Jimmy Carr Says The UK Is Going Through A ‘Revolution’ – Tories And Labour Are Finished

Jimmy Carr believes the UK is going through a ‘revolution’ and that we will never see Labour or the Tories win another election again – or at least not for a very long time.

Here’s what the comedian said on LBC when asked about comments he had made previously on the Triggernometry podcast:

‘I think we’re in the middle [of a Revolution].  It’s the replacement of elites, and I see elites being replaced.

‘I look at Labour and the Tories and I think – they’re not going to win again.  That hasn’t happened in our lifetimes.

‘The Labour party used to be the party of the working man, and it’s been gentrified.

‘We haven’t seen that tectonic shift in our politics in our lifetimes.’

It’s always a bit annoying when a celebrity is asked about politics, but Jimmy Carr may be onto something here. Labour and the Tories have exhausted public trust, and neither offers any hope out of economic decline and societal breakdown. Both parties have provided the perfect lay-up for either Nigel Farage and Reform UK, or Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana’s Your Party, to run away with the votes in 2029.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and 2029. But would it be that surprising if both Labour and the Tories are squashed completely? At this point, it seems the most likely scenario,
