Example Tells Disabled Fan: ‘Get Up Out Of Your Seat – You Look Stupid’

Well, well, well. If it isn’t our old mate Example. Who even knew he was still performing? Well, he is, and he’s also managed to put his foot in it (pun not intended but intended) after having a go at a disabled fan for sitting down during his set.

Example AKA Elliot John Gleave, 43, was performing as the warm-up act for JLS’s Hits Tour at the 02 in London, when this happened:

Oh dear. According to the comments on TikTok, the rapper/singer frequently gets annoyed by people sitting down at his shows:

‘In notts the whole time he was complaining about people being sat down 😭😭,’ said emilyyycox.

‘He was like this in Cardiff 😂 he was fuming as everyone sitting down 😂😂,’ said stephanie2509.

Pretty obnoxious for Example to call out any fan for sitting down at his concert, disabled or not. If someone wants to come to your show and spend the whole time sitting down, then that’s their right as paying customer. Most importantly, it helps avoid any small chance of you looking like a total kn0b for calling out a disabled/pregnant person. Just a bad look all around really.

Still – we told you Example was a bit of a pr1ck way back in 2013. He even shared the article himself! Full marks for self-awareness, at least.
