Sex Offender Who ‘Destroyed’ Child’s Life Claims Jury Was Hypnotised To Convict Her

A sex offender who assaulted a child has claimed that the jury that convicted her were under the influence of hypnosis at the time.

Natalie Wolf, 47, tried to convince the judge that the jury at Newcastle Crown Court were hypnotised into not liking her, but the judge told her off for portraying herself as the victim.

The actual victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in a statement read out in court that Wolf ‘destroyed’ her childhood and that she was ‘lying through her teeth’.

She said: ‘There are few things more isolating than living in a body you don’t feel safe in. I’ve carried shame, self-doubt and a sense of disconnection from myself.

‘I’m left carrying what they did. It made my body feel like a battlefield. Watching them celebrate their life and body feels like salt in my wounds.’

The victim said Wolf ‘destroyed me as a child, a teenager and an adult’.

The victim added: ‘Today, you are finally going to face justice.”

Judge Gavin Doig shut down Wolf’s claims that she had been convicted by a jury planted with people who dislike her.

He told her: ‘You are not the victim of a conspiracy. You are not the victim at all. [Victim’s name] is the victim and the sooner you accept that, the better it will be going forward.’

‘You will be released from prison in due course. I hope you are able to move on and receive the help you need.’

In the end, Wolf was sentenced to three-and-a-half years imprisonment as well as an indefinite restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order. She will also appear on the sex offenders’ register for life – in case anyone can’t guess by looking at her.

Wolf’s other argument in court, aside from telling the judge that the jury were under hypnosis, was that she is ‘not sexually attracted to females in that way’, and so can’t have sexually assaulted a young female. If you believe that, I’ve got a magic beanstalk to sell you.
