Tom Cruise ‘Feels Used’ By Ana de Armas Following Split, ‘Fears He’ll Never Find Love Again’
Love has taken a huge blow this week as it was reported that Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have broken up, ending their year-long relationship.
(US Weekly) Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have officially called it quits after less than one year together, Us Weekly can confirm. “Tom and Ana are done for now,” a source exclusively tells Us. “It was more Ana’s decision because things were moving fast and she started to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going.”
You could argue that they weren’t quite a good fit from the start, given that Tom Cruise is 63 and Ana de Armas is 37 and only one of them can still be considered one of the hottest humans alive.
According to the report by US Weekly, Tom got excited and started moving too fast for Ana de Armas’s liking. Apparently they weren’t on the same page but I guess that can happen when you’ve got a 26-year age difference.
According to the International Business Times (experts in celebrity gossip apparently), Tom Cruise ‘feels used’ by de Armas and had ‘high hopes’ for their future, and is now worried that he’ll ‘never find love again.’
It’s also being reported that the actress dumped Cruise for ‘micromanaging’ her with his hectic career schedule and controlling behaviour. Which you can totally imagine, to be fair. Tom Cruise seems like an intense guy who won’t really give you too much room to breathe, although date nights with him are probably awesome; even at 63, the guy’s jumping out of planes with his parachute on fire:

If Ana de Armas can’t handle that level of excitement in her life, then so be it. We also have to consider the whole Scientology thing and what a headache that might have been for her. Still, fair play to Tom Cruise for holding onto her for the better part of a year. I hope he doesn’t feel like it was a complete waste of time because at the end of the day, one year with Ana de Armas is better than no years with her.
As for de Armas, it will be interesting to see who she goes for next. She’s already dated Ben Affleck, Tinder VP Paul Boukadakis, the son of Cuba’s president, and then Tom Cruise. Hard to guess where she goes from here but I’ve got a feeling she’ll be just fine regardless…
