Thomas Skinner Admits To Cheating On His Wife Just Weeks After They Got Married

Thomas Skinner built a whole brand out of being a loving, ‘traditional British family values’ man who works hard and does it all for his family, but he’s now confessed to cheating on his wife just two weeks after being married, after being rumbled by The Sun.

Here he is having a cry about it:

There’s something so funny about The Sun finding out about his affair and offering him a tearful interview to confess, which he gladly took up. Although I guess the alternative was the full exposé, so he didn’t really have much choice in the matter.

I doubt anyone reading this can be @rsed to watch the interview, so he basically said he had a “two-week fling” with a beauty clinic owner after meeting her in a pub, and that she was an “attractive woman” who offered him free cosmetic treatments in exchange for promotion. Here’s the lady in question – Amy-Lucy O’Rourke…

He said: “It is the biggest mistake of my life. I met her in a pub. She was a single mum. We chatted on the phone and she offered me some kind of cosmetic slimming treatments. I had a fling. It was nothing more than that. It was the one time, it was a mistake.

“I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty. I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had. I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”

So, wait – his wife already knew about it, but he did this mea culpa with The Sun anyway? His wife even forgave him and the couple are “stronger than ever”, so I’m not sure why he’s bawling his eyes out for The Sun years after the fact.

Besides, you’re meant to have an affair on Strictly, not years before. Come on, Tom mate. Bosh!

Wonder how this all affects his plan to run for Mayor of London?
